Easter
We started our Easter celebration on Friday afternoon. Instead of an egg hunt this year, we invited the cousins over for some egg dying and a craft that my mom saw in a magazine while waiting for her dental appointment. It just so happened that it was in one of the few magazines I get. The kids made little Easter chicks. We wanted the kids to focus on others and so we asked them to think of someone they could give their craft to.
We spent about an hour on Saturday delivering Easter chicks to various friends and teachers. My kids seemed to enjoy this but still asked several times if we were going to have an easter egg hunt even though I had told them many times that we were doing this instead. If ever I wonder that they get tired of doing the same thing year after year, THEY DON'T especially if it involves candy.
The Easter bunny found his way to our house again. I thought he was pretty smart this year for bringing the kids new swim suits. How did he know they needed them? (Ha Ha).
At church, Brayden gave his first talk in sacrament meeting. He did a great job. He took this assignment very seriously and spent alot of time writting it himself. If he was nervous, he didn't show it. He has never ceased to amaze me with how he handles this kind of pressure. All of the talks on Sunday were so good. It made Easter really nice. I'm so grateful for my knowledge of the Savior and to know the true meaning of Easter. We ended the day at Mom's house for a family dinner.

What a great idea. I love the Easter outfits!
He did do a good job on his talk...and wrote it himself. That would NEVER happen at our house.
clearly the easter bunny had one thing in mind this year, our kids got swim gear as well :)
and yes...your baby is cute. I never actually see him in person though ????
What a great craft/service idea! Way to go Brayden! I'm sure his talk was awesome. He is always impressing me!
Spencer is the cutest!
Brayden did do so well on his talk. I was so impressed at how well he delivered it.
I loved your girls dresses!
Oops, that last one was really me. :)
I didn't have to hear Braydens talk myself to know it was amazing. He has always had a way with words. Great Job Brayden!
